- If you bought a used vehicle check for changes from previous owners

- Know what products are out there
- Study catalogs, surf the net, and visit local shops
- Ask around and look for the better price
- Buying from large local shops sometimes isn't the best because you’re paying for all the overhead in the company
- Your product could cost up to 50% more just because you had to speak to many people in the company
- Small companies are good to purchase from as long as they have a reputation because they have very little overhead
